Rose Ceremony

Roses have for centuries symbolized love, and are therefore an important component of many weddings.

It is common for couples, usually after exchanging rings, to give each other a rose as the 'first gift'.

Roses may be real or permanent, and may also be presented to parents or others in thanks for their support and encouragement.

Roses may be placed on a suitable table, such as the signing table.  At the appropriate point in the ceremony, each will select a rose, each giving theirs to the other.

Appropriate words may be used to express their love, words composed by the officiant, or by the couple.

The significance of the rose and its importance to the couple may be revisited throughout the marriage in many ways.

I will assist you in developing a ceremony that suits your preferences, or you may use one of the samples I will provide for you when we meet.
